In my math class we are working on some problems that require
allot of thinking. I"m going to post the problems and how my train of thought is going, i would
appreciate any
suggestions or comments.
Here's the first problem:
The top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa is about 55.9 metters above ground. As of 1997 its top was leaning about 5.2 meters off-center. Approximate the slope of the tower.The formula for slope is:Y2-Y1_____X2-X1My two points would be (0,0) and (5.2,55.9)55.9-0 _____ = 10.755.2-0 10.75 is the slope of the tower.(:
