Math Problem(:

In my math class we are working on some problems that require allot of thinking. I"m going to post the problems and how my train of thought is going, i would appreciate any suggestions or comments.

Here's the first problem:

The top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa is about 55.9 metters above ground. As of 1997 its top was leaning about 5.2 meters off-center. Approximate the slope of the tower.

The formula for slope is:
Y2-Y1
_____
X2-X1

My two points would be (0,0) and (5.2,55.9)

55.9-0
_____ = 10.75
5.2-0

10.75 is the slope of the tower.
