A couple weeks ago in my math class we had a lady named Ms.Cooper come in and talk to us about tracking hurricanes and some systems that can tell us all about different hurricanes.
We did a project on this, i did mine on the hurricanes in Maryland. Here's what i found;

About 16 major hurricanes have hit Maryland, the names of the major ones are:
Jeanne (9-29-2004)
Hazel (10-15-1954)
Connie (8-13-1955)
Ivan (9-18-2004)

About 99 total hurricanes have hit Maryland, and about 97% of Maryland has been hit by a hurricane.

The center point of Maryland is 38.922 latitude, 76.59 longitude, and some cities in Maryland are Baltimore, Frederick, and Annapolis.

Because of technology I can understand the path of a hurricane, how strong they are, how long the last, and how far they can go. I am now more interested in hurricanes and want to find out more about them.
